Spelling – On Fridays children will bring home a spelling pattern and keywords to learn. There will be a spelling check on the following Friday.

Maths - Maths homework will be sent home fortnightly. Homework  focusses on developing mathematical fluency (e.g.number bonds, times tables) as well as more open-ended tasks to develop reasoning and problem solving skills.

There will also be a termly ‘Star Challenge’ with clear success criteria and feedback linked to the Star Challenge. Star Challenges are often linked to topics in class and can be completed in ways that follow the children’s individual interests.

Weekly Homework and the Star Challenge will be added to Google Classroom should you wish to use our online learning facility.
