Birch

Birch - Mr Warlow and Mrs Anderson

After a restful Christmas Break, its been a busy start to the Spring Term.

The third week back saw the whole of Year 4 travelling to the O2 in London to become part of the 'world's biggest choir' as part of Young Voices. Thank you so much for supporting the children in learning the songs and dance moves and a special thank you to those of you who came to watch. It was a great day out, a fantastic spectacle and an amazing experience for the children.

I'm sure that many of the children are looking forward to their next adventure, at PGL in April!

In the classroom, we have been completing our Christmas themed cooking - baking and packaging our savory pastries.

We have also started a new unit of science. Its all about electricity and we have started by finding out what we already know and by investigating electrical circuits.

We have also had a whole Year 4 discussion of Online Safety with lots of tips on how children can best protect themselves when using phones, consoles and websites.
